Belarus’ entry for Eurovision 2017 Naviband filmed an episode for their postcard on 2 April. According to the new rules, this year the TV companies of the 43 Eurovision participating countries will take part in filming the postcards. The organizers will shoot the second part of the postcards in May when the delegations arrive in Kiev that will host this year’s edition of the contest.
The preparations for shooting the Belarusian postcard started on 1 April, but the filming was postponed due to the rainy weather. On the next day, the duo of Ksenia Zhuk and Artyom Lukyanenko spent a total of 12 hours in front of the cameras at five locations and in four stage outfits to finally make a 45-second video.
The video highlights sincere emotions of the Belarusian musicians having fun and doing what they like most: study the optical laws at the Popular Science Museum in Minsk, ride longboards, have a picnic near the famous Mir Castle, work on their song Historyja majho zyccia in a studio, and stage a performance in a cozy cafe.
