MINSK, 28 December (BelTA) – On 28 December President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko appointed Mikhail Myasnikovich Prime Minister of the country, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.
Before his appointment as Prime Minister, Mikhail Myasnikovich served as the head of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Vladimir Semashko was appointed First Deputy Prime Minister of the country. Vladimir Semashko has served as First Deputy Prime Minister since 2003.
