Lukashenko shown Team Belarus outfits for Pyeongchang 2018
MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has attended a presentation of Team Belarus outfits for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the Republic of Korea, BelTA informs.
The head of state saw the collections of two Belarusian fashion designers. Lyudmila Labkova together with the Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom designed a casual style collection of official clothing for athletes. The major color is light grey, the outfits are complemented by red accessories and details.
Yulia Latushkina, the designer of Team Belarus outfits at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, teamed up with the sewing studio of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate. Her collection is more formal yet original.
It is noteworthy that the two designers used traditional Belarusian ornaments in their collections.
A decision was made in favor of the outfits designed by Lyudmila Labkova. Alexander Lukashenko gave an instruction to make the uniforms available on sale in the biggest department stores in the country.
