MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 24^th International Specialized Forum of Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies TIBO 2017, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Today information technologies are used everywhere and radically transform all walks of life. High speed and efficiency of digital transformation processes in all industries is a pillar of the country’s sustainable development, competitiveness of the economy and improvement of the living standards of people. Therefore, the productive development of the IT industry is one of the crucial tasks for our state,” the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko remarked that over the years the TIBO forum has turned into one of the most successful platforms for mutual cooperation attracting Belarusian companies and corporations with world fame.
