MINSK, 20 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko once again used a helicopter to inspect the progress in the harvest campaign in Belarus on 20 August, BelTA informs.
The footage from the helicopter was published by the press service of the Belarusian leader. The president flew over the regions of paramount concern for him. These are Vitebsk Oblast, northern districts of Mogilev Oblast and Minsk Oblast. The head of state inspected the progress in the harvesting of grain, straw, procurement of fodder, preparations for the sowing of winter crops.
Therefore, the president is monitoring the progress in the 2017 harvest campaign seven days a week.
By the way, yesterday morning the president also received a present from Mogilev Oblast agrarians who had harvested 1 million tonnes of grain. As of 20 August, more than 90% of areas under crops were harvested in Belarus.
