RAUBICHI, 12 September (BelTA) – It is no doubt that the birth day of the biathlon Legend Race will make history, three-time Olympic champion Darya Domracheva said as she opened the festival at the Raubichi National Winter Olympic Center on 12 September, BelTA informs.

“Let today will go down in history as the birth day of the Legend Race, as the day that will breathe a new life into the sports center Raubichi. This day will leave a wonderful tradition in the biathlon world as the birth day of a very important event. Great athletes that have come to Raubichi from different corners of the globe are part of the world biathlon history. These are the people who have deserved the right to have such a day in the year when they can feel the atmosphere of the biathlon family once again. Biathlon fans also deserve such a meeting with their idols,” said Darya Domracheva.

Partaking in the opening of the Legend Race – Biathlon Stars for Peace was TV host, well-known Russian sportscaster Dmitry Guberniyev.
