MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – Belarusian rhythmic gymnasts won ten (two gold, five silver, and three bronze) medals at the FIG World Challenge Cup 2017 – BSB Bank in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Leader of the national team Yekaterina Galkina clinched gold with the Ball and bronze medals with the Hoop and the Ribbon. Alina Gornosko collected silver medals with the Ball and the Ribbon. She also claimed bronze with the Clubs and the Individual All-Around silver.
Two silver and one gold medals were taken by Belarus in the group routine.
For the leading rhythmic gymnasts the FIG World Challenge Cup 2017 – BSB Bank in Minsk was a dress rehearsal ahead of the 35th Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships 2017 in Pesaro, Italy. Partaking in the competitions were representatives of 24 countries. Belarus fielded eight athletes.
