MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) - Belarus’ First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Yevdochenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Belarus Fiona Gibb, BelTA learned form the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The sides reviewed the current state and prospects for development of cooperation between Belarus and the UK, and discussed the issues of Belarus’ WTO accession process, including the recent round of talks that took place in Geneva in September,” the press service informed.
As it was reported, the bilateral relations between the two countries will be high on the agenda of the visit of Alan Duncan, the Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, to Belarus on 25-26 September.
