MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) - Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell is in Minsk on a visit on 30-31 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Wess Mitchell is expected to hold a number of meetings in Minsk to discuss Belarus-United States bilateral relations and also issues of the international and regional agenda.
According to the press service of the U.S. Department of State, after the visit to the Belarusian capital Wess Mitchell will travel to Lithuania. In Vilnius he is set to hold consultations with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defence.
