MOSCOW, 15 April (BelTA) – The Belarus-Russia Parliamentary Assembly will hold a seminar, entitled Common Information Space of the Union State, in Minsk on 11-12 May, BelTA learnt from the PA press service.
The participants of the event will consider a wide range of issues, including the development of the common information space, its legal regulation, operation safety. The program of the seminar will include three thematic sections: Union State common information space; geopolitical reality and the Union State; Union State media space: prospects, challenges, responsibility.
MPs of the Parliamentary Assembly and participants of the seminar will visit the events of the 11th Belarusian International Media Forum “Partnership for the Future” that will open in Minsk on 11 May with an official opening of the 20th international exhibition Mass Media in Belarus.
Among those invited to partake in the seminar are the Union State MPs, MPs of the parliaments of Belarus and Russia, representatives of the Union State Permanent Committee, the Belarus Presidential Administration, ministries and agencies of the two countries, academies of sciences, research institutes and centers, and also leading Russian and Belarusian mass media.
