MINSK, 29 May (BelTA) – An updated agreement on cooperation between the supreme financial oversight agencies of Belarus and Poland was signed on 29 May as a delegation of the State Control Committee of Belarus visited Warsaw, the committee’s representatives told BelTA.
The document was signed by Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus Leonid Anfimov and President of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland Krzysztof Kwiatkowski.
The legal framework for partnership relations between the two agencies was established by the cooperation agreement signed 15 years ago. The updated agreement is expected to give a new impulse to cooperation and the introduction of innovative auditing methods, to the exchange of knowledge and experience, noted Leonid Anfimov.
The new document provides for sharing the best practices in the area of external state oversight methods, interaction in professional training and career enhancement, exchange of information and reference materials, organization of parallel audit events, and other avenues of cooperation.
