MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) – A delegation of Sudan led by Khartoum State Governor Abdel Rahim Mohammed Hussein will pay a visit to Belarus on 30 October-4 November, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian embassy in Egypt.
“This is the first visit of the Sudanese governor to Belarus in the history of bilateral relations,” the embassy said.
The delegation will comprise the ministers of industry and investments, urban planning, and infrastructure of the State of Khartoum. The delegation is set to meet with the ministers of architecture and construction, housing and utilities services, industry, agriculture and food, energy of Belarus, the Minsk Oblast Governor and representatives of the Bellesbumprom Concern.
The Sudanese delegation is expected to visit a number of Belarusian engineering plants, including MAZ, MTZ, Amkodor, and BelAZ. The guests will also be taken on a tour on the companies producing meat and dairy products, building materials, and furniture. The representatives of the State of Khartoum and Belarus will discuss mutually beneficial cooperation and product supplies to Sudan.
