MOSCOW, 6 December (BelTA) – The Russian government has approved the draft federal law on the ratification of the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Belarus on certain issues related to the entry of foreign nationals and stateless persons attending international sport events, BelTA learned from the press service of the Russian government.
The agreement was signed in Minsk on 19 May 2018. “In accordance with the agreement, foreign nationals and stateless persons traveling to attend international sporting events in one of the two states can enter, exist, stay and transit through the territory of the other state without visas on an authentic ID and a document to attend such international sports events,” the press service noted.
The document will stay valid through 10 July 2019.
The Russian government will submit the agreement to the State Duma for ratification.
