MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Minsk is hosting regional consultations of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS) from 7 till 9 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The participants of the consultations will discuss the new UNAIDS Strategy for 2016-2021, talk over the current HIV prevention trends, and develop political scenarios to counter AIDS in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Head of the Central Office for Multilateral Diplomacy of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yuri Ambrazevich addressed the participants of the meeting with welcoming remarks.
