MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – The negotiation process on Belarus’ accession to the World Trade Organization has gained a new impetus, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said at the opening of the first conference of Belarus’ honorary consuls on 3 October, BelTA has learned.

According to Vladimir Makei, a lot of work has been done in this field. “The negotiation process will be over soon,” Vladimir Makei said.

The participants of the conference are discussing a wide range of matters, including those related to the expansion of Belarus’ trade, economic, and investment ties with foreign countries.
