Nearly 400,000 foreigners use visa-waiver to visit Belarus since year-start

MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) – Since the start of the year 2023, a total of 399,535 residents of the neighboring EU states of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have taken advantage of the visa waiver to come to Belarus, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

This included 239,664 citizens of Lithuania, 91,849 citizens and 27,959 non-citizens of Latvia, and 40,063 Polish citizens.

Some 784,521 people from the neighboring EU countries have visited Belarus since the launch of the visa-waiver program, including 487,927 citizens of Lithuania, 54,838 non-citizens and 179,983 citizens of Latvia, and 61,773 Polish citizens.
