Nearly 40,000 Ukrainian citizens arrive in Belarus since 1 January 2023

MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) – A total of 39,645 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the State Border Committee, 28,869 came to Belarus via Poland, 8,744 via Lithuania and 2,032 via Latvia.

A total of 114,349 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022. According to the committee, 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine, 75,374 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 18,894 via Lithuania and 4,191 via Latvia.
