MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) - Mongolia plans to open an embassy in Belarus next year, Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Damdin Tsogtbaatar said after the talks with Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei in Minsk on 4 June, BelTA has learned.
Damdin Tsogtbaatar stressed that opening the embassy of Mongolia in Minsk is not a distant prospect. But this will not happen this year. Probably next year. “We will make provision for the amount needed to open the embassy of Mongolia in Belarus in next year’s budget, he said.
Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei noted that the issues of expanding the diplomatic presence were on the agenda’s of today’s talks with the Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
