MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) - The next joint meeting of Belarus’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation will be held in Minsk on 22 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
The meeting will discuss the cooperation of Belarus and Russia in the UN system, the interaction with the European Union and the Council of Europe, the alignment of the integration processes, and also the measures to counter attempts to falsify history and review the outcome of the Second World War.
Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov will hold a working meeting to discuss the bilateral cooperation and international agenda.
The ministers are expected to sign a plan of ministerial consultations for 2017.
