MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) – A plenary meeting of the 3rd Belarus-Russia Forum of Regions will take place in Minsk on 8 June, BelTA has learned.
The theme of the meeting is the Implementation of the Coordinated Social and Economic Policy in the Union State: Achievements, Problems, Solutions and Prospects.
The international exhibition Belagro 2016 is held simultaneously with the Forum of Regions. This time the exhibition has gathered more than 500 companies from 20 countries on the premises of Minsk 1 Airport.
It is expected that Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the Forum of Regions.
The forum is aimed at expanding the Belarusian-Russian regional cooperation and promoting direct contacts between regions, enterprises and organizations in the social, economic, scientific, educational, cultural, humanitarian and other areas.
