Minsk hosts meeting of CIS advisory committee of ministerial legal services

MINSK, 27 September (BelTA) – The 34th meeting of the CIS Advisory Committee of Legal Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs was held at the CIS headquarters in Minsk on 27 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The web-based meeting brought together heads and experts of the legal services of the ministries of foreign affairs of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and representatives of the legal department of the CIS Executive Committee.

The meeting discussed the practices in monitoring the implementation of international obligations, exchanged the information on improving the legislation of the CIS countries on international treaties and on publicly available electronic databases of international treaties.

The participants of the meeting had a substantive discussion on topical issues of legal cooperation in the CIS and in major international organizations.

The next meeting of the Advisory Committee will be held before the end of this year.
