MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – Minsk played host to the Belarus-Uzbekistan ministerial consultations on international legal matters on 17-18 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
The Belarusian delegation was led by the head of the legal department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrei Metelitsa and the Uzbek delegation by head of the legal department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mirvohid Azimov.
The two sides discussed the draft bilateral agreements that are currently in the works, updated the list of bilateral treaties and other international instruments in force in the relations between Belarus and Uzbekistan and exchanged the information on the practice of their implementation.
The diplomats reviewed other international legal matters, including those related to the cooperation in international organizations.
