MINSK, 12 August (BelTA) – Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko discussed a wide range of issues pertaining to Belarus-Ukraine relations as well as the possibilities of resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs on its Twitter account, BelTA has learned.
The working visit of Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei to Ukraine kicked off on 12 August. Vladimir Makei held talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Pavel Klimkin. The parties talked over the Belarusian-Ukrainian relations in trade, economic and political areas, interaction in international organizations and the negotiation process to resolve the conflict in the east of Ukraine.
