MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Italy President Sergio Mattarella as the country celebrates National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state expressed confidence that rich traditions of constructive political dialogue and vibrant economic cooperation, personal contacts, cultural and humanitarian ties create a wonderful foundation for the further enhancement of bilateral interaction.
“Using this great opportunity, I want to express my sincere hope that you will be able to visit hospitable Belarus in the near future as soon as the situation gets back to normal,” the president remarked.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sergio Mattarella strong health and every success in his responsible job. He also wished friendly Italian people peace, wellbeing, and a speedy return to normal life.
