Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to China

MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) – On behalf of the Republic of Belarus and himself Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Chinese President Xi Jinping on the National Day of the People’s Republic of China, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Under your wise leadership, China is effectively building a new model of international relations and global governance based on mutual respect, justice and cooperation,” the message of congratulations reads. “Your country has made remarkable progress in creating a comprehensively modernized socialist state that relies on continuous development and progress,” Aleksandr Lukashenko continued.

The head of state noted that the strategic partnership between Belarus and China is increasingly vibrant and can be described as an all-weather friendship and iron brotherhood and such a partnership is bringing significant results.

“I am convinced that all the agreements we have reached will be put into practice and will help build positive momentum in our cooperation and improve living standards of our peoples,” the president emphasized.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Xi Jinping good health, success and inexhaustible energy to solve historical problems, as well as well-being, peace and prosperity to the friendly people of China.
