MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Poland President Andrzej Duda as the countries mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I am convinced that there is a big potential for developing Belarus-Poland all-round contacts, expanding pragmatic and constructive cooperation in the best interests of the people of Belarus and Poland,” the message of greetings reads.
“We have common history, we are neighboring countries and should solve all issues by means of dialogue in the name of peace, stability, and security in Europe,” the Belarusian head of state remarked.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Andrzej Duda strong health and every success in his responsible work. He also wished the people of Poland peace and prosperity.
In the message of greetings addressed to the Belarusian head of state, Andrzej Duda expressed hope that the next quarter of a century will be the period of productive cooperation between the two independent states relying on mutual understanding and trust which will help improve the wellbeing of people and strengthen security and peace in Europe.
