Lukashenko congratulates Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on victory in presidential election

MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on his convincing victory in the presidential election, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Thanks to your policy, Egypt can be proud of significant achievements in social and economic development. The country is implementing large-scale national projects, including in healthcare, education, and infrastructure. In the Arab world, you invariably remain a beacon of stability and sustainability," the congratulatory message reads.

The president stressed that based on the agreements reached during bilateral meetings, he looks forward to continuing successful cooperation with Egypt in all areas important for both countries.

"I will be glad to welcome you to Belarus at any time convenient for you to continue our sincere fruitful dialogue and identify promising areas for further cooperation," the Belarusian leader added.
