Lukashenko: Belarus views Türkiye as reliable, promising partner

MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to Türkiye  President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and all citizens of Türkiye  as the country celebrates the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Türkiye , BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

"The Turkish people proudly celebrate the centenary of the country which has achieved great success in the political, socio-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and has gained strong authority in the international arena as an active participant in resolving regional and global problems," the Belarusian leader said in his message.

Like a hundred years ago, Türkiye demonstrates to the world its commitment to traditions and long-established  values and  firmly defends its national interests, the Belarusian leader stated.

"Minsk sees Ankara as a reliable and promising partner. We strive for even more dynamic and fruitful development of bilateral cooperation in all areas," the president emphasized.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Recep Tayyip Erdogan good health and success in his noble deeds, and peace, unity and prosperity to the people of friendly Turkey.
