MINSK, 16 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to President of the United Mexican States Manuel López Obrador as the country celebrated the Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Belarus is interested in intensifying political, trade, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation with Mexico, expanding the legal framework of bilateral relations," the message reads.
Both countries have a powerful manufacturing potential, and well-developed industrial and agricultural sectors, the president stated. Reliable cooperation between Minsk and Mexico, filling it with new content in accordance with the challenges of the time will bring significant benefits to citizens of both countries, the Belarusian leader is convinced.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Manuel López Obrador good health and success, and the Mexican people - happiness, peace and prosperity.
