MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – Management of science must be coherent, with no compartmentalized approaches, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko noted at the second Congress of Scientists of Belarus on 13 December, BelTA informs.
“There should be no compartmentalized approaches. We need coherent and coordinated work and a participatory decision-making process,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
According to the president, there are different mechanisms of science management in the world. “We have developed our own scheme over the years of independence. We have preserved and enhanced the role of the National Academy of Sciences. We have been developing the sectoral and university scientific sectors. Today’s issue is not in breaking and reorganizing something. It is important to achieve higher efficiency from every participant, better interaction between them,” the head of state stressed.
