MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko mentioned having close relations with the leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine as he met with members of the general public, representatives of the Belarusian and foreign mass media on 3 February, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian head of state noted that Vladimir Putin is not just a colleague but a friend. “We are on friendly terms, even though we may have more disputes than any other presidents,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian head of state emphasized that his relations with the leaders of Ukraine and Kazakhstan are no less friendly. “With Nursultan Nazarbayev we can even exchange words because we are so close,” Alexander Lukashenko confessed.
