MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – Preparations for the 2nd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine have been discussed at a government session led by Belarus’ Vice Premier Igor Lyashenko, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine.
The session held in the government headquarters focused on topical issue of trade and economic cooperation with Ukraine. Participants of the session discussed preliminary trade figures in January-February and reviewed efforts to increase bilateral trade to at least $8 billion in 2019.
Top on the agenda were also Belarus’ preparations for the 2nd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine that will take place in Zhitomir in October 2019.
