MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – A delegation of the Georgian parliament led by the speaker Irakli Kobakhidze will be in Belarus on 20-22 November on an official visit, the press service of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament told BelTA.
Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich and Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Vladimir Andreichenko will meet with the Georgian parliament delegation.
While in Belarus the Georgian MPs are expected to visit the automobile engineering company BelAZ, the agricultural company Agrokombinat Snov, and the Hi-Tech Park. A meeting with professors and students of the Belarusian State University will be arranged.
The parliaments of Belarus and Georgia are expected to sign a joint statement as a result of the visit.
