MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) - Military inspectors from Germany, Norway, Spain and the United States will inspect two military units in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The German inspection team will visit Belarus on 5-8 December in accordance with the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE Treaty). They will inspect two military units (at their option) which are subject to control under the CFE Treaty. The group will include six German military inspectors and also military inspectors from Spain, Norway and United States (one from each country),” the Defense Ministry said.
The aim of the inspection is to prove that the actual amount of the materiel limited by the CFE Treaty corresponds to the declared data.
