MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) - The first round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia was held in Jakarta on 17 October. The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Valentin Rybakov. The Indonesian delegation was headed by Director-General for American and European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Muhammad Anshor, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Following the consultations the parties signed the protocol.
Valentin Rybakov also met with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Abdurrahman Mohammad Fachir.
In Jakarta Valentin Rybakov held meetings with Indonesian Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto and the top executives of Salim Group, Pupuk Indonesia and Petrokimia Gresik.
During his working trip to Yogyakarta Valentin Rybakov met with His Majesty Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, Governor of Yogyakarta Special Region, and also with the top executives of the Chamber of Trade and Commerce of Yogyakarta.
