MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) - Estonian Foreign Minister Sven Mikser will travel to Belarus on a working visit on 23 May, spokesperson for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 18 May, BelTA has learned.
During the visit the Estonian Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei and senior officials of the government and parliament of Belarus.
“The sides are set to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the light of Estonia's Presidency in the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2017. Particular attention will be paid to the prospects of interaction between Belarus and the European Union, and Belarus’ participation in the Eastern Partnership initiative.
