MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – On 7 September Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik received copies of credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to the Republic of Belarus concurrently Luciano Ncogo Ndong Ayecaba, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sergei Aleinik congratulated the ambassador of Equatorial Guinea on the commencement of his diplomatic service in Belarus. The parties discussed ministerial contacts, trade and economic cooperation, primarily in agriculture and food security, the legal framework, coordination and mutual support in international organizations.
They agreed that the first official visit of Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo to the Republic of Belarus will lay a solid foundation for promoting bilateral cooperation.
