Enhancement of Belarus-Türkiye relations driven by political will

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – Political will in favor of enhancing bilateral relations between Belarus and Türkiye is available, BelTA learned from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Türkiye to Belarus Mustafa Ozcan. The ambassador met with Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko.

Mustafa Ozcan said: “There is an important factor that allows us to build bilateral relations so productively and in such an excellent manner. We are peace-loving countries. Peace and all the efforts to secure peace are top priorities for us. We always believe and express a common stance that peace in regional and global matters should be the key priority. It is necessary to strive for peace. And I am happy to report that certain results, which are quite significant for us, have been achieved in this context.”

In his words, it is important that despite all the complications Belarus-Türkiye trade continues rising. “I am convinced that this growth will continue,” Mustafa Ozcan noted.

“I’d like to mention important results in humanitarian and interpersonal relations, which also develop and make us very happy. Most importantly, I’d like to note that political will in favor of further advancement and enhancement of bilateral relations between Belarus and Türkiye is available,” the ambassador added.
