Cooperation between Belarus, Red Cross discussed in Minsk

MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yuri Ambrazevich met with Head of the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus Boris Michel on 5 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Yuri Ambrazevich and Boris Michel discussed in detail the interaction between Belarus and the ICRC. They also took stock of the efforts to implement the 2023 plan of joint work of state-run and other organizations of the Republic of Belarus and the International Committee of the Red Cross. They also discussed promising areas of cooperation for 2024 and humanitarian aspects of ongoing international armed conflicts.

The parties confirmed the high level of mutual understanding and support in resolving humanitarian issues, and also expressed mutual readiness to continue constructive cooperation.
