MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) – Representatives of the Belarusian and Israeli ministries of foreign affairs met in Minsk on 4 September to discuss consular affairs, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Head of the ministry’s Central Consular Office Alexander Ganevich while the Israeli delegation was led by Deputy Director of the Consular Department of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Eyal Siso.
The sides discussed the implementation of the Belarusian-Israeli intergovernmental agreement on mutual travels using national passports, the insurance of citizens of Israel in Belarus, the protection of rights and legal interests of citizens of Belarus and Israel in the two countries, and other matters of mutual interest.
