MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Viktor Guminsky is in Poland on a visit, attending a meeting to mark the 1050th anniversary of the country’s Baptism, BelTA learnt from the press service of the House of Representatives.
In Warsaw Viktor Guminsky met with Vice Speaker of the Polish Sejm Stanislaw Tyszka, Co-Chair of the Polish-Belarusian Parliamentary Group Adam Andruszkiewicz, and MPs Sylwester Chruszcz and Tomasz Rzymkowski. The Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives thanked the representatives of the Polish Sejm and the Senate for the invitation to take part in the events celebrating Poland’s Baptism 1050th anniversary. “He emphasized the readiness of the Belarusian parliament to develop the Belarusian-Polish inter-parliamentary dialogue,” the press service said.
Viktor Guminsky also held a brief meeting with Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Laszlo Kover who is also in Poland on a visit.
