HANOI, 6 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has begun his official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, BelTA has learned.
A Belarusian government delegation headed by the prime minister arrived in Vietnam. According to the press service of the Belarusian government, the program of the visit is very packed. Roman Golovchenko is scheduled to hold talks with Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh. An important point of the program is a meeting with President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong.
The delegation is set to tour the MAZ Asia joint-stock company, to see the production site of the enterprise and get familiar with the projects for a plant to make dairy products from Belarusian raw materials.
During the official visit, the prime minister is expected to take part in a ceremony of laying Allée of Belarusian-Vietnamese Friendship. According to the press service of the government, the proposal to plant such an allée was made by the Hung Yen Province People's Committee. The trees will be planted on an area of 0.5 hectares near the MAZ Asia enterprise.
