MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik held talks with the foreign ministers of Mongolia and Nicaragua on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
In the morning Sergei Aleinik met with Mongolian counterpart Battsetseg Batmunkh. The parties highlighted the constructive nature of relations in all areas of mutual interest, and also discussed the exchange of visits, cooperation in agriculture, and the supply of equipment.
Sergei Aleinik and Foreign Minister Denis Moncada of Nicaragua discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in terms of the supply of domestic food and pharmaceutical products, equipment, and the use of IT technologies. The issues of strengthening the legal framework were also touched upon. The ministers agreed to hold a meeting of the joint commission on trade and economic cooperation in Minsk on October 3-4 this year.
