MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ Armed Forces continue upgrading the available combat hardware. Another batch of main battle tanks was delivered on 6 May, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The Belarusian army received five main battle tanks T-72B3 modernized by the Russian manufacturer Uralvagonzavod.
The upgraded battle tanks T-72B3 are equipped with a more powerful engine with the output of 1,130hp and an improved array of weapons. The tank’s armor has been reinforced with lateral screens with a set of removable protective modules.
