MINSK, 30 August (BelTA) - Belarus and Ukraine are considering charting a road map for the demarcation of the border between the two states, BelTA learned from the website of the Embassy of Ukraine in Belarus.
“The parties are discussing the possibility of charting a road map for the demarcation of the state border between Ukraine and Belarus,” the embassy said.
The embassy explained that this issue is on the agenda of the regular meeting of the joint Ukrainian-Belarusian demarcation commission hosted by Minsk on 30 August-1 September. The commission is set to sum up the activities in previous years, to discuss the major areas of work for the coming years, to set the dates for field demarcation works and identify the sites of boundary signs in certain sections of the border.
