MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Sergei Aleinik visited Birmingham to take part in the annual Conservative Party Conference, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
While attending the Conference, the Ambassador of Belarus met with Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson. “The parties exchanged views on the issues on the bilateral and regional agenda,” the press service informed.
The Belarusian Ambassador also met with Deputy Lord Mayor of Birmingham Raymond Hassall. During the meeting, the parties discussed interregional cooperation and outlined certain joint projects.
