Belarus, Turkmenistan discuss logistics, trading houses and education

MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi has met with Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia Esen Aydogdyev, the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission told BelTA.

"The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in economy and trade, including the work of trading houses in both countries. They also discussed the schedule of upcoming joint events to be held at various levels, including within the framework of the CIS," said the press service.

The diplomats also touched upon the transformation of logistic routes in Central Asia amidst the expansion of the International North–South Transport Corridor.

"Humanitarian contacts were also on the agenda, including the training of Turkmenistan students at Belarusian universities", the press service added.
