MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) – Belarus and Turkey have signed an action plan to guide the development of cooperation in 2016. The document was signed as a result of political consultations between the two ministries of foreign affairs in Minsk, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna. The Turkish delegation was led by Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Аli Kemal Aydin. Participants of the consultations discussed the current state and prospects of developing the entire range of bilateral relations, including the political dialogue, trade, economic, and investment cooperation, interaction in the area of culture, science and education, the development of the legal base of the bilateral relations.
The sides exchanged opinions about topical items on the regional and international agendas. As a result of the consultations the action plan to promote Belarus-Turkey cooperation in 2016 was signed. The document envisages a number of joint events.
