Belarus to promote cultural contacts with South Korea

MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrei Chernetsky has met with Chairman of the Korea Ambassador Culture Friendship Association (KACFA) Shin Hyun-doo, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Seoul.

The parties signed a memorandum of understanding and agreed to promote cultural contacts between the Embassy of Belarus in the Republic of Korea and the Korea Ambassador Culture Friendship Association. This involves inviting members of the Belarusian diplomatic mission to attend culture festivals, arranging bilateral visits, supporting public diplomacy events held by the embassy, as well as publishing materials about Belarus in the Seoul City Magazine and on the NDNnews website.

The Korean and Belarusian sides expressed their readiness to promote and strengthen the cultural partnership between the two states.
