Belarus takes in over 64,000 Ukrainian citizens since year-start

MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) – A total of 64,089 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Of them 46,259 came to Belarus via Poland, 15,518 via Lithuania, 2,289 via Latvia, and 23 from Ukraine.

A total of 138,793 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022. According to the committee, 15,913 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 92,764 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 25,668 via Lithuania and 4,448 via Latvia.
